Your partner
If your husband or partner is also going to be the biological father of the child, there are some preparations that need to be made.
Several blood tests are required, which your partner can have here at the clinic or through his GP.
The results must be available no later than the day of treatment.
The following blood tests are required:
Hepatitis B: HBsAG anti-HBc
Hepatitis C: anti-HCV antibodies
HIV 1+2: Anti-HIV-1/2
Before starting treatment, it is also important to have sperm quality checked.
This can be done at the preparatory meeting here in the clinic, where you either bring the sperm sample with you or use the clinic’s donor room.
If a sperm analysis has been carried out elsewhere, we would like to ask you to send us the result.
