The insemination process
First consultation:
You arrange a consultation online or here at the clinic. At the first consultation a fertility specialist will go through the treatment process with you and together you will make a treatment plan.
Preparation:
In Denmark, there are legal requirements for blood tests that you must have before treatment, and some tests we recommend, including a tubal patency test to ensure your tubes are open before treatment begins.

The treatment:
The treatment can be performed with or without hormone stimulation, depending on your situation. Together, we will create a treatment plan that’s right for you.
In a natural cycle—without hormones—your ovulation is determined with an ovulation test. In a stimulated cycle, you take hormones at home. The time of insemination is determined with the help of a scan and an ovulation syringe.
Insemination takes place in a quiet environment at the clinic. It’s a uncomplicated procedure, and you can go home immediately after the insemination.
After treatment:
After treatment, you can resume your normal daily life. Take a pregnancy test 14 days after treatment and report the result to us.
